Overlooking King Harbor marina, Sea Level Restaurant at Shade Hotel Redondo Beach offers fresh California coastal cuisine, 24 beers on tap, imaginative craft cocktails, and an extensive wine list. Guests can relax with friends and family in our plush outdoor seating with cozy fire pits. With a large capacity of over 200 indoor and outdoor seats, Sea Level is the South Bay’s premier summer dining destination. Our hotel offers guests 54 marina-view luxury hotel rooms, multiple unique event spaces, a marina-front restaurant and bar, and a rooftop Aquadeck, complete with dipping pool, cabanas and lounge with views from Palos Verdes to Malibu. Ranked #1 on Trip Advisor, we take the guest experience very, very seriously (but thankfully don’t take ourselves too seriously).

We are looking to hire a Expo who wants to be a part of our Shade family. While having at least one year of Expo experience preferred in a full-service upscale restaurant, we are also looking for an individual who wants to join a tight-knit team and will stay a long time and grow with us. Whether you want to keep bussing, or grow into management, we are seeking someone with a genuine love for hospitality and finds happiness through making others happy. We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule (weekend availability is a must), and we will do our best to be flexible with you as well. WHAT YOU WILL DO...

• Attend to customers' needs and possess a strong desire to fulfill the desires of the customer at all times.
• Communicate positively with guests, and support and communicate effectively with both servers and kitchen staff.
• Complete opening and closing duties.
• Assist servers with table maintenance, including clearing dirty plates, cups and silverware.
• Ensure stations remain stocked throughout shift.
• Describe dishes to customers and take additional orders when necessary.
• Check dishes/orders for accuracy and collaborate with kitchen staff to present food professionally.
• Deliver orders promptly, accurately and efficiently.
• Greet guests with a smile and thank them for coming upon exit.
• Other duties not detailed above.
