At MML Hospitality, we’re a team dedicated to crafting memorable experiences through our Austin-based restaurants, shops, and hospitality-driven spaces.

Founded in 2006 by Larry McGuire and Tom Moorman Jr., our early focus was on reimagining barbecue in thoughtfully designed settings. Since then, we’ve grown into a multifaceted hospitality group, committed to quality, creativity, and contributing meaningfully to the communities we serve. The addition of Liz Lambert in 2020 brought new perspective and depth to our design and development approach.

Looking ahead, we’re working on a new hospitality project in Austin—an opportunity to bring together our strengths in food, design, and guest experience in a more immersive way. As a Expo/Food Runner, you will help guide guests through the dining experience. We have high expectations for hard work and attention to detail. Qualities we look for in this position include a genuine interest in food and beverage, the desire to create memorable experiences for our guests, and dedication to hard work.

What you'll do:

• Maintain standards of food and beverage quality and standards of service
• Anticipate and address guest needs and concerns
• Communicate with other staff and management regarding the needs of guests
• Complete all side work as assigned
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Support other servers and kitchen staff in duties as required
• Other duties as assigned

• Active TABC certification required
• Excellent customer service and people skills required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
• Minimum of 1 year as food runner experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure
• Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of being on your feet per shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
