Job Description - Express Lane Service Advisor

We are actively seeking a Express Lane Service Advisor to join our team! This individual will greet customers, listen to their description of the service needed, determine the type of service required, and prepare repair orders. They also advise customers on other available services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Meets or exceeds dealership objectives and goals for the service department.

  • Advises customers about necessary services for routine maintenance.

  • Fills out paperwork with correct customer information, as well as details about the maintenance including costs and methods of payment.

  • Schedules appointments and notifies customers about any changes in appointment times. 

  • Makes sure each vehicle is paid in full before releasing vehicle.

  • Ensures that vehicles are parked in assigned areas. Makes sure they are locked, and all keys are marked and put away correctly.

  • Handles telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in process, as well as complaints. Informs the service manager of any potential problem or upset guest.

  • Follows manufacturer guidelines for handling warranty concerns.
