Responsibilities
Oversee flow of Drive Lane. Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer.
Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person.
Schedules service appointments utilizing the available scheduling system properly.
Obtains customer history and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtains vehicle information.
Documents customer’s vehicle needs accurately and clearly on repair order.
Inspects vehicle for damage and other needs.
Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications.
Review Multi-Point Inspection format and ask for authorization.
Checks on progress towards completion. Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
Express Service Advisor will greet customers while remaining actively engaged in learning the description of their needs. Team member will determine type of service required and prepare repair order. If a vehicle requires additional repairs not included in the original order then the Express Service Advisor must communicate this with the customer and request permission to perform additional work. The Express Service Advisor’s primary focus is express service (ie: oil change, tire rotations and other express work).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Approaches, greets, and offers assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership
Understands and demonstrates proper usage of #1 Cochran Service Lane Process
Advises customers about necessary service for routine maintenance
Confers with customer about inspection results, recommend corrective procedures and prepare repair order for needed repairs
Communicates with technician to ensure expected service and issue is understood
Ensure customer care (CSI) and responsiveness to consumer is of top priority
Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts
Inspects vehicle completion prior to notifying customer
Keep in consistent contact with consumer throughout the day and responds in a timely manor to emails, phone calls and text messages
Maintains professional appearance.
Other tasks as assigned.
