Express Service Technician

Description

Performance Toyota in Fairfield, OH, is hiring experienced Express Service Technicians. This is not an entry-level position. In this role, you will perform key maintenance, replacements, and repairs. Your duties will include oil and filter changes, tire rotations, tire mounting and balancing, tire repairs, brake replacements, coolant flushes, and changing drive belts, sway bar links, shocks, struts, and ball joints, along with other vehicle service and maintenance tasks.

• $34,000.00 - $49,337.00 annually
• This Position is Flat Rate Pay – Experience based
• $2,500.00 Sign-on Bonus - Experience-based
• Shop hours Monday - Friday 7 AM to 5 PM and Saturdays 8 AM to 3 PM – Closed on Sunday

Requirements

Responsibilities: 

• Capable of performing lubrications, oil changes, maintenance, tire services, inspections, and other essential services
• Able to complete repairs and replacement of brakes, engine coolant, drive belts, sway bar links, shocks and struts, ball joints etc.
• Precisely communicate needed repairs to customers via video and to Service Advisor
• Addressing fellow teammates and customers with patience and respect
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Taking direction and mentoring from others
• Participate in progressive training programs
• Maintain store cleanliness
• Promote a safe work environment
• Assist in maintaining store equipment and tools
• Complete any other assigned tasks delegated by Service Management

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED required
• 1-2 years of practical automotive experience is required
• 1-2 ASE Certifications are preferred but not required
• Completion of an automotive technology course is a plus
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Ability to communicate well with others
• Driver's license with driving record allowing you to be insured to drive company and customer vehicles
