Description

 St. Thomas More After School Teacher/Aide Job Description: After-school teachers are in charge of children in an after-school care program. Qualifications: Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age to obtain certification/training in “Protecting God’s Children” Program. Hours are from 3:00-6:00pm, weekdays. 

Requirements

 Responsibilities: - Leading a variety of activities and games - Assist students with homework - Supervise activities to ensure the safety of the children at all times - Able to relate well to children ages PreK to 5th grades - Treats all children with dignity and respect - Willingness to fulfill responsibility in accordance with the School’s program and philosophy - Maintain a friendly attitude when working with parents - Work with other staff members to form a positive, supportive, team atmosphere - Must be able to lift up to 50 pound   Note: All employees are required to consent to a background check, commit to our Code of Conduct policy, and complete online and in-person training prior to hire.
