Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, experienced Certified Field Estimator (Sales Representative) to inspect and estimate roofing, siding, gutter, and exterior damage claims—primarily storm-related and insurance-driven projects. You’ll handle some light reconstruction estimating as well, working directly with property owners and insurance adjusters to ensure jobs are scoped accurately and efficiently.

This role is perfect for someone who understands roofing systems and the insurance claim process, and enjoys working independently with support from an experienced team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of roofs, siding, gutters, attic structures, and exterior storm damage.
• Prepare professional, accurate estimates in Xactimate for insurance and retail work.
• Document inspections and project notes in Proven Jobs, Captivated, and Microsoft 365.
• Guide homeowners through the claim and material selection process.
• Communicate regularly with insurance adjusters and agents.
• Assist in change order and contract review processes when needed.
• Stay informed on construction best practices, safety codes, and restoration standards.

Requirements

What You Bring

Required:

• Experience as a construction or exterior sales rep or estimator (roofing preferred).
• Knowledge of roofing, siding, and gutter systems.
• Proficiency in Xactimate, Microsoft 365, and CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with insurance claims and storm damage scopes.
• Ability to safely inspect roofs and structures (ladder safety required).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred:

• Commercial or residential roofing background.
• Knowledge of Indiana building codes and local restoration standards.
