Position Overview

This position is responsible for packaging, quality and other duties as needed within the Extrusion department.

Requirements

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for operating coiler, dump table and grinder.

• All packaging functions within the department.

• Monitor quality and communicate with operator or tech when a defect is found.

• Ensure area is kept clean, safe and organized.

• Work with tech or lead in line changes with line clearance and work station set up.

• Maintain general housekeeping duties within the department.

• Must comply with company and department rules.

Non-Essential Job Functions

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Good eye and hand coordination

• Good communication skills

• Basic math skills

• Skill in organization and attention to detail.

• Team oriented and positive attitude.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

• Must be able to stand for extended period of time and able to engage in frequent bending, and squatting.

• Must observe all safety rules.

• Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
