Position Summary: 

The ideal candidate will support safe and efficient extrusion operations by preparing ovens, maintaining an organized work area, and assisting the extrusion team to maximize productivity, quality, and on-time production.

What Success Looks Like

During your first year, you will:

• Learn Drake's extrusion processes, equipment, and safety procedures.


• Safely load, unload, and operate extrusion support equipment.


• Maintain a clean, organized work area by following 5S standards.


• Support production activities while meeting quality and scheduling expectations.


• Become a dependable team member who contributes to safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or GED preferred.


• Manufacturing or production experience is a plus but not required.


• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.


• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.


• Reliable attendance, positive attitude, and strong teamwork skills.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Work Environment / Schedule

This position primarily works within climate-controlled industrial buildings but is required to work on some outdoor projects. Will spend most of the day on your feet and working with your hands. The standard work schedule is 12-hour day shifts, averaging 42 hours a week with every other long weekend and holiday off.
