Preferred Precision Group is seeking an Extrusion/Doffer Operator, you will play a key role in maintaining quality and efficiency within the textile production process. This position is physically demanding and requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical ability, and dedication to workplace safety. You'll patrol looms, remove full yarn packages, perform fabric inspections, and support overall loom operation.

Multiple shifts available including Rotating and 2nd.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned looms and promptly turn pick clocks


• Remove and replace full yarn packages (doffing) to ensure continuous operation


• Perform visual and written inspections of fabric for quality assurance


• Identify and repair quality-related issues or report them to Technicians/Supervisors


• Alert Technicians of any mechanical malfunctions on assigned looms


• Fix filling stops and warp stops


• Creel and tie tails on filling packages as needed


• Maintain a clean and organized workstation for shift transitions


• Follow all company safety guidelines and protocols


• Complete tasks efficiently in accordance with supervisor instructions


• Support other production duties as assigned by supervision

Required Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of weaving and extrusion operations


• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks continuously for at least 8 hours


• Willingness to work overtime when required


• Capable of squatting, kneeling, or sitting on concrete for 10–15 minutes to repair warp threads


• Good close and color vision to identify and inspect product quality


• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination


• Able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly


• Comfortable bending at the waist for extended periods (15–20 minutes) to access warp end
