The F&I Manager is responsible for securing each vehicle sale by arranging financing, offering insurance options, and ensuring all required paperwork is accurately completed. This role works closely with the sales team to support customer satisfaction and maintain compliance with dealership and manufacturer guidelines.
Essential Job Functions
Finance & Insurance
Present financing and insurance options to customers.
Complete all paperwork related to vehicle sales and financing.
Explain manufacturer and dealership policies and answer customer questions.
Educate the sales team on financing and product options.
Customer Service & Compliance
Collaborate with sales team to ensure smooth transactions and exceptional customer experience.
Maintain compliance with all regulations related to financing and insurance.
Administrative & Reporting
Track and report finance and insurance performance metrics.
Assist in developing processes to improve finance and insurance efficiency.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
Customer Service: Strong ability to address customer questions and resolve concerns.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Sales Ability: Persuasive presentation of financing and insurance options.
Financial Acumen: Ability to calculate payments, interest rates, and financing terms.
Attention to Detail: Accurate completion of all required documents.
Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing processes, promotions, and regulations.
Preferred Education & Experience:
One-year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
3-6 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Environment:
Primarily office setting with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions.
Noise level is typically quiet.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Compensation & Benefits:
The employee will be paid an hourly wage of $35-60K. Starting pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, education, and geographic location.

Performance-Based Bonus:
The employee will be eligible for a discretionary performance-based bonuses, determined by individual and company performance. Bonus eligibility is based on key performance metrics, including goal achievement, work quality, and overall contribution. Bonuses are not guaranteed and are awarded at the employer’s discretion. The employee must be actively employed and in good standing at the time of payment.
