Fab Shop Safety Coordinator

We are currently seeking to a Safety Coordinator to our fab shop in Brookshire, TX.

Fab Shop Safety Coordinator Duties

·       Shop Inspections

·       PPE Ordering

·       Safety Meetings (Toolbox Talks)

·       New Hire Orientations

·       Management of HSI online learning

·       Bi-weekly meetings with Safety Committee

·       Prepare and Schedule training for workplace safety. (Forklift)

·       Monitor compliance with Safety Protocols.

·       Injury / Near miss investigations

·       Safety Corrective Actions

·       Assist with Quarterly Lunches

·       Assist with Annual Boot program

·       SDS Management (QR Codes)

·       Kick off Meetings for jobs

·       Visitor Safety Briefings

·       PPE inspections

·       Hydration Program

Required Skills/ Abilities:

·       Knowledge of Safety regulations and policies

·       Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

·       Proficient in technology and equipment used in inspections.

·       Flexible work hours to interact with night shift.

Bilingual a must.
