Job Description - FAB Wiring Center - 2nd

Eaton\u2019s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a FAB Wiring Center - 2nd. \n\nThe hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.\n\nThe core hours are Monday - Thursday - 3:30pm-2:00am.\n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThe FAB Wiring Center will perform technical fabrication operations on raw materials throughout the Fabrication Department using metal processing machinery. \nIn this function you will: \n\u2022 Observe all safety rules and hygiene regulations \n\u2022 Receive work assignments, oral or written instructions from Supervisor or Team Lead \n\u2022 Perform initial set-up for operation on PLC, Analog, or Manual controlled machines \n\u2022 Operate equipment/machinery to produce parts - Wire Wind, Tape, Solder for Transformers \n\u2022 Interpret work orders including written, Kanban cards, and drawings \n\u2022 Complete necessary paperwork and system transactions \n\u2022 Maintain tools, equipment, and materials for continuous operation and calibration \n\u2022 Inspect final component against work specifications \n\u2022 Perform necessary operator maintenance on machining and fabrication equipment \n\u2022 Report abnormal situations and submit maintenance work orders to maintain equipment \n\u2022 Provide on-the-job training for new Operators \n\u2022 Perform TPM and 5S+ responsibilities daily \n\u2022 Complete any other assigned tasks from management \n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications: \n\u2022 Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution. \n\u2022 Previous experience reading calipers, protractors and tape measures \n\u2022 Previous experience reading blueprints \n\u2022 Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area (50 miles) will be considered for this \nPreferred Qualifications: \n\u2022 Machining Certificate \n\u2022 Previous experience in Fabrication \n\u2022 DMM experience\n\n## Position Criteria:\n\n\u2022 Able to lift 35 pounds \u2013 waist, shoulder, overhead \n\u2022 Proven history of safe work habits and good attendance \n\u2022 Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision \n\u2022 Computer skills \u2013 Microsoft Office, Internet (JOE), DMM, etc. \n\u2022 Must be able to work overtime \u2013 weekdays and weekends\n\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
