We are looking for an experienced Fabrication Foreman to lead the daily operations of a busy fabrication department in a custom engineer-to-order manufacturing environment. The Fabrication Foreman will supervise a team of welders, fitters, and fabricators, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in every project. This position plays a critical role in coordinating production activities, interpreting blueprints, and meeting delivery deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities for fabrication team members.
• Interpret engineered drawings, weld maps, and build plans.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA, ASME, and company safety policies and quality standards.
• Assign jobs based on skill level, material availability, and production timelines.
• Track job progress, labor efficiency, and production output.
• Conduct employee training, evaluations, and disciplinary procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve design or material issues.
• Perform quality checks and ensure timely documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and shop floor optimization.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of fabrication experience.
• Strong blueprint reading and welding knowledge (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux Core).
• Understanding of ASME quality standards and procedures.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-year technical degree or vocational certification.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in fabrication or industrial manufacturing.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Fabrication Foreman must be comfortable working in non-temperature-controlled shop environments with exposure to dust, noise, and metal debris.
• Must wear all required PPE.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift 50 lbs., and work on ladders or in tight spaces.
