Fabrication Technician - Get Hired Fast

Summary: Seeking an experienced CNC/Manual Operator/Machinist-Fabrication Technician to write and optimize CNC programs, design complex setups, and machine precision parts.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming within a machining environment.

• Proficiency with CAD (CATIA), CAM software, and G-code.

• Experience with additional CAD Systems such as Mastercam or GibbsCam.

• Knowledge of Vericut software is a plus.

• Demonstrated understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).

• Both manual and CNC operation experience mandatory.

• Capability to write post processors is considered an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong capability in designing fixtures for complicated setups on both manual and CNC machines.

• Ability to calculate accurate speeds and feeds for various materials.

Job Responsibilities:

• Write and refine CNC programs for the creation of complex parts using 3 and 5-axis machining centers.

• Design fixtures for intricate setups on manual and CNC equipment.

• Calculate appropriate speeds and feeds for a range of material types.

• Compile necessary documentation to facilitate machine setups.

• Operate multiple machines including Mill (manual/CNC), Lathe (manual/CNC), Saws etc.

• Machine components according to technical drawings or special requirements.

• Employ measurement tools to validate the precision of completed parts.

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $30.00 to $37.00 per hour
