NFPA Global Solutions recently announced the acquisition of Dyne Fire Protection Labs. Dyne Fire Protection Labs is an independent testing laboratory with 25 years of experience providing quick, reliable, and independent analysis of fire sprinklers, firefighting foams, antifreeze solutions, and dry chemical agents to help building owners and/or their designated representatives fulfill various laboratory requirements in inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM) standards. It is known for its in-depth technical competence, outstanding customer service and extremely fast delivery of test results. Dyne Fire Protection Labs is seeking a Fabricator.

Responsibilities:

• Welding of various components (steel and stainless steel) for Dyne’s Dropmaster product line
• Operate various power and machining tools to shape materials accurately
• Assembly of various components as designed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with associates and management
• Other duties as assigned

• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques (1 year)
• Experience with power and machine tools (drill press, chop saw, bandsaw, grinder, shear, break, etc.)
• Ability to read and understand various measuring devices (tape measure, caliper, etc.)
• Aptitude to troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues as they arise
• Experience with warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) (certification NOT required)
• Able to work independently and on a team
• Strong ability to self-manage workload and adjust priorities based on changing circumstances
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated and shows initiative in taking on new projects
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive can-do attitude
• Ability to multi-task several projects
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Hourly Rate: $25-28 depending on experience.

Hours: 40 Hours a week

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday: 7 am – 3 pm (Flexible)
