Fabricator Associate

Description

Reporting to the Service Center Manager, AFS, Inc. is searching for a Fabricator. In this role, you will be responsible for feeding the product through production machinery and ensuring the product is kept in a clean and organized manner.

First shift! No nights or weekends!

Schedule: 7:30 AM to 4 PM

Pay: $20-$25 an hr DOE

Requirements

All the responsibilities we will trust you with:

· Stocking, routing, and packaging PVC orders using PVC Router

· Picking and loading customer orders using a forklift

· Receive and inspect incoming truckload deliveries

· Load and unload trucks for daily deliveries

· Assist in inventory counts

· Ensure that the warehouse and yard are clean and organized according to inventory procedures

· Working knowledge of measuring, cutting, and using power tools

· Additional tasks as assigned

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

· PVC router or fence industry experience is highly preferred, but not required

· High school diploma/equivalent, or an equal combination of education, training, and experience working in the fencing industry

· Comprehensive communication and leadership skills to interface effectively with customers and operational staff

· Demonstrate proficiency in equipment operations through completion of Forklift Certification Training including a written test

· Direct industry knowledge in fencing systems and production with an emphasis on fencing materials
