Fabricator Associate-No weekends

Our specialty lumber yard is looking for a shop hand who will be responsible for basic woodworking and some welding. Job responsibilities include:

Pay: $20-$22 an hour depending, on experience 

• Constructing gates for fence projects. Some gates require customization, and the shop hand will need basic woodworking skills to ensure precision, productivity, and quality.
• Cutting lumber for decorative structures such as pergolas and arbors
• Lifting heavy gates and lumber for raw materials is required
• Welding experience preferred for this position

It requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.

Position is full-time and located in Provo, Utah.

Normal business hours are 8:00 am-5:00 pm.

Shop hand must be available for overtime hours as needed.

Rate: Depending on experience.

Welding experience is a major plus for this position.
