Job Duties:
Reading Blueprints and Schematics: - Fabricators meticulously study detailed schematics for complex machines. These blueprints guide them in understanding the assembly process.
Component Fabrication: - Using a combination of hand tools and power tools, Fabricators trim, cut, and fit components into the final product.
- They may also engage in welding and soldering to join pieces together.
Alignment and Assembly: - Fabricators align various components and securely connect them using bolts, screws, or other fasteners.
- Collaborative robots are sometimes employed to assist in producing and assembling these components.
Quality Control and Troubleshooting: - Fabricators inspect finished products to ensure quality and craftsmanship.
- If any faulty components are identified in defective items, they work to rectify the issues.
Requirements:
Technical Skills: - Understanding Blueprints and Schematics: Fabricators must be adept at reading detailed schematics for complex machines. This skill helps them comprehend the assembly process.
