Fabricator Operator- Weekend Shift

Eaton\u2019s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Fabricator Operator- Weekend Shift at our Fayetteville, NC plant! The hourly rate for this position is $18.40 + 11.12% shift differential per hour. The weekend shift schedule offers a premium pay structure, providing 40 hours of pay for 36 hours worked. .\n\nShift Hours: Friday through Sunday 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.\n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThis Fabricator Operator will perform fabrication work such as drill, tap, sand, rivet, grind, spot weld, shear, apply powder paint, solder, operate punch presses, iron worker, stabwelder, load/unload paintline, and assist in upkeep/maintenance of equipment. This person will assist higher level operators in their work as directed.\n\n * Perform work from manufacturing information, bills of material, and written or oral instructions.\n * Utilize manufacturing information, determine necessary parts/inventory, jigs/fixtures, and obtain materials from stock areas.\n * Provide assistance to higher-level sheet metal fabricators / operators in performance of their duties.\n * Deliver material to/from workstations using material handling equipment, position work material on coil cradle / feeder. Ensure correct parts and matching documentation reach next process in a timely fashion.\n * Complete necessary preparation work such as wiping, degreasing, de-burring, or grinding of components.\n * Pick up and place scrap in appropriate containers. Documentation / record-keeping may be required.\n * Operate spotwelders, punch presses and other metal-fabrication equipment as directed. Inspect parts periodically or as directed utilizing manufacturing information such as drawings / blueprints, make necessary adjustments as required. Keep accurate piece count and other applicable records. Apply powder paint and shear various types of material to proper size. Inform Supervisor of any quality problems.\n * Maintenance of equipment such as dressing of welding electrodes, oiling/greasing, machine settings, changing of tooling, and minor adjustments may be necessary. Complete necessary maintenance check sheets and inform Supervisor and / or Maintenance personnel of any problems\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\n\n * Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution\n * Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
