The Fabricator / Training Aids Technician is responsible for designing, fabricating, maintaining, transporting, and refurbishing aircraft training aids and instructional equipment used within the aviation maintenance training program. This position also supports aircraft acquisition activities, including retrieving, transporting, and preparing aircraft and components for instructional use.
The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical aptitude, metal fabrication skills, and a broad understanding of aircraft systems and structures. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring students have access to high-quality, hands-on training resources.

Work Environment
Work is performed primarily in aircraft hangars, laboratories, fabrication shops, warehouses, and outdoor environments. Regular overnight travel may be required for aircraft retrieval and special projects. Travel is up to 50%.
