Fabricator/CNC Plasma Cutter - South Burlington, VT

Fabricator / CNC Plasma Cutter needed, located in South Burlington VT 

Pay: $24-$26 DOE

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6am-4:30pm
Duration: Temp to Perm 

Core Job Duties/Tasks:
○ Operate a variety of steel fabricating tools including grinder, torch, ironworker, drill press. 
○ Rig, load & unload material with overhead cranes & forklift.
○ Set up and operate CNC plasma tables including most efficient use of machine and materials. 
○ Accurately measure parts and transcribe dimensions. Understand and create basic drawings. 
○ Mig and/or stick welding, safety, set up, fitment, inspection, and troubleshooting.
○ Assist with press brake operation under the supervision of equipment operators.
○ Quality control of own work as well as final quality control of product.
○ Packaging with pneumatic bander.
○ Help troubleshoot and prevent equipment problems.
○ Conduct pre-operation equipment safety check & participate in equipment preventive maintenance. 
○ Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
** Accurately read tape measure to 1/32”, understand instructions, and interpret basic drawings.**
