Position Overview

DNV EnerFab/Youngstown Pipe and Steel is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Fitter with a strong background in industrial fabrication and installation. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision work, follows safety and quality standards and brings hands-on expertise in fitting.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to fabricate and fit custom jobs per blueprint specifications


• Measure, cut, and verify dimensions, alignments, and quality of welds through inspection and testing.


• Assemble and install systems in shop settings.


• Read and interpret drawings, P&IDs, and material lists accurately.


• Adhere to all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience preferred as a Fabricator/Fitter in industrial, fabrication or construction settings.


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.


• Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy piping.


• Familiarity with ASME and AWS codes (preferred).


• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied positions and environments.


• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
