Fabricator/Mechanic

Kimball Equipment Company, a leader in the aggregate mining and supply industry since 1946, is actively recruiting for the position of Fabricator/Mechanic in our Salt Lake City location. Kimball Equipment Company is a successful dealer for brands such as Terex Cedarapids, Terex Finlay, and Superior Industries. We are growing quickly and are looking for someone motivated to grow with us!

We are currently searching for fabricators willing to learn about mining equipment!

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Fabricator Responsibilities:

• Hardface wear items on a crusher


• Measure, cut, build and replace wear liners


• Rebuild worn items and balance


• Reinstall parts

Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Daily work on repairing crushers and screens


• Shop work on parts for crushers


• Organize and document service repairs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Crusher or heavy equipment experience


• Ability to handle physical workload


• Must be able to lift 40lbs


• Ability to multitask and prioritize


• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment


• Strong organizational skills


• Technical school certificate or equivalent experience

Fabricator Mechanic Compensation:

• Pay based on experience ($20-30/hr starting)
