About the Role


At Southern 441 Toyota, we pride ourselves on creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both customers and employees. This is not a desk job — as a Facility Assistant, you’ll be on your feet, moving, walking, and actively working throughout the dealership each day. We are seeking a dependable individual to join our team and support our Facilities Manager in maintaining the dealership’s property, buildings, and equipment.


The Facility Assistant works directly under the Facilities Manager, providing hands-on support with daily tasks, upkeep, and special projects. This position is for someone detail-oriented and eager to help with a wide variety of responsibilities that keep our dealership running smoothly.


What You’ll Do




  • Assist the Facilities Manager with day-to-day operations of the dealership property.




  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all dealership areas (service drive, showroom, offices, restrooms, customer lounge, lot, and exterior).




  • Complete light maintenance tasks: replace light bulbs, hang signage, repair fixtures, assemble furniture/equipment, touch-up paint, etc.




  • Monitor and restock supplies (cleaning products, facility tools, etc.)




  • Support landscaping needs: light groundskeeping, trash/debris pickup, watering plants, sweeping walkways, other duties as needed.




  • Help coordinate and supervise outside vendors (cleaning crew, landscapers, repair technicians, pest control, etc.) under Facilities Manager’s direction.




  • Set up and break down dealership events (tables, chairs, banners, displays, etc.).




  • Perform regular facility walkthroughs with the Facilities Manager to identify maintenance or cleanliness issues.




  • Assist with safety and compliance checks: fire extinguishers, emergency exits, signage, OSHA-related items.




  • Support seasonal needs: hurricane/tropical storm/rain prep and cleanup, pressure washing, etc.




  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager or Fixed Operations leadership.




What We’re Looking For




  • High school diploma or equivalent.




  • Facility, janitorial, or maintenance experience preferred.




  • Comfortable with hands-on work and physical tasks (ability to lift 50+ lbs).




  • Basic handyman skills (using tools, ladder work, painting, etc.)




  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.




  • Valid driver’s license.




  • Willingness to take direction and assist across multiple departments.
