Purpose of this Position:

The role of the CR9 Building Facilitator primarily is to open and close the County Road 9 Facility for events that take place on the weekend, primarily for Sunday Services when scheduled. Secondary role is to help with cleaning and setup tasks during the week. This person will work cooperatively with staff members and ministry leaders.  This person is one who is dependable, responsible and can work with little or no supervision. Must be free to work regularly on Mondays or Tuesdays and Sundays as scheduled and possibly be needed to work during special events that take place at the County Road 9 Facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Check all bathrooms for restocking needs (paper supplies, soap dispensers, etc).


• Empty and take out trash.


• Sweep


• Stock supply closets


• Set tables and chairs for upcoming events


• Go to the County Road 9 facility prior to the scheduled event and unlock the building as scheduled by the Facilities Manager.


• Unlock rooms needed for the event.


• Sweep building sidewalks and entrances, as needed.


• Monitor and empty trash bins during and after the event.  Ensure that a liner has been placed in all trash bins prior to leaving.


• Sanitization of the restrooms and all areas that are used for the event.


• Clean up any spills during and after the event.


• Work with volunteers and staff to respond to any needs that arise before, during and after the event.


• Ensure that all doors to the facility are locked and the lights are turned out after guests have left.


• Other duties as directed by the Facilities Manager
