Facilities Coordinator

This individual will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment while actively supporting all phases of 6S initiative—Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety—and overseeing daily housekeeping functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead and oversee daily housekeeping functions to maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility
· Actively support all phases of 6S initiative to drive workplace efficiency and continuous improvement
· Collaborate with the Purchasing Department to ensure shelving, consumables, and other facility supplies are properly stocked and available
· Partner with departmental teams to maintain clean, organized, and efficient work spaces
· Conduct regular facility walk throughs to identify safety issues and improvement opportunities
· Assist in maintaining standards through consistent application of 6S principles
· Perform other related duties as assigned
Leadership of multiple departments

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
· Prior experience in facilities, housekeeping supervision, or a related field preferred
· Familiarity with 6S or other continuous improvement programs is a plus
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and work across departments
· Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
Forklift training

Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift)
· Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and kneeling
· Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs
· Comfortable using ladders or step stools to access storage areas
· Capable of operating light-cleaning equipment and tools (e.g., vacuums, floor scrubbers)
· Manual dexterity and visual acuity to handle small items or organize supplies
· Able to work in varied environments, including warehouse, production, and office spaces
