COMPANY MISSION

POSITION SUMMARY
The Facilities Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the breakroom, bathrooms and showers in the eGenesis swine production facility. You will perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, restocking supplies. You will work closely with the other members of the site Operations team and Animal Care staff to help and support wherever possible.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mopping and sweeping floors in breakroom, bathrooms, showers and entryway
- Clean staff kitchenette area, including sink, counters, and windows
- Clean and sanitizing restrooms and showers
- Regularly emptying trash cans and recycling bins throughout the buildings
- Launder scrubs and towels, fold and restock showers
- Identifying and reporting maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Be a great team member and support other staff members at the site wherever possible
- Inventory, order, receive and stock supplies as needed
- Other tasks as necessary
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Attention to detail and observant
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks
- Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules
- Pleasant and positive attitude
- Good communication skills to report issues and interact with building occupants
- Actively be a positive member of the team
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates in multiple environments including office environment, laboratory environment, and farm environment (may be required to use hazardous chemicals, cleaning fecal matter, and operating in dusty environments).
