Facilities Engineer

Cortina Solutions is seeking a Facilities Engineer to support a government customer in Albuquerque, NM.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job Duties:

• Perform planning and design work for new construction, renovations and improvement projects for existing and future real property facilities


• Prepares or directs preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans and designs for projects


• Inspects construction site to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications, and construction and safety standards


• Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents


• Coordinate with appropriate stakeholders throughout design phases

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field


• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with DoD


• Experience with the physical requirements associated with Secure Compartmented Information (SCI) facilities


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Active Top Secret Security clearance
