Job Description - Facilities Escort and Vendor Scheduler

As a Facilities Coordinator working with the LotusWorks team, you will join our client site in the pharmaceutical sector. This job is based in a cutting-edge facility in Rensselaer, NY.


This role is accountable for execution and oversight of work managed by the Facilities Engineering Department. We provide operational, maintenance, and troubleshooting support for systems and equipment that support manufacturing process area and labs through strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and cGMP. 


Responsibilities:



  • Sponsoring and escorting vendors into utility spaces, lab areas, and process areas, including gowning into classified and controlled spaces.

  • Reviewing work record documentation and vendor provided documentation for completeness, accuracy and compliance, and providing feedback to Facilities technicians, contractors, and other internal or external customers to ensure timely resolution of issues.

  • Working with FMM, MFG, and QC teams (among others) to coordinate and ensure completion of FMM managed work (preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting activities, repair and calibration). Follow current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs) and good business practices.

  • Ensuring that the execution of activities are performed in a safe and compliant manner.

  • Communicating and coordinating with all applicable groups within Facilities Engineering before, during, and following planned and unplanned work events.

  • Investigating and troubleshooting issues and determining solutions or recommendations for remediation, changes, and/or improvements.

  • Identifying and implementing process and program improvements.

  • Ensuring that all work that is carried out is in compliance with the required regulatory standards, conforms to company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role. 


Skills Required:



  • At least 1 year of experience in gowning and cleanroom environments required.

  • At least 1 year of experience in following good documentation practices (GDP) and ALCOA standards required.

  • Familiarity with HEPA filters and general HVAC systems and equipment preferred

  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and manage cross-functional teams.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.


Education / Licenses / Certifications



  • A degree in HVAC in addition to a minimum of 2 years of field experience, is highly preferred.

  • Refrigerant License is preferred but not required.

  • Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.

Compensation:



  • $30-$40/hour DOE
