Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) checks and services on refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, ventilation systems, compressed air systems, and HVAC-related equipment supporting building automation systems.
- Service and repair HVAC systems including refrigerant recovery, evacuation, recharging, leak repairs, and part replacements.
- Troubleshoot and repair defective breakers, controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and other HVAC components.
- Read and interpret HVAC manuals, schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with other trades to bring equipment back online promptly and safely.
- Drive company vehicles to pick up or deliver equipment and parts as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Journeyman certificate or minimum of 5 years HVAC experience
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Familiarity with basic computer applications
