Facilities Maintenance
Facilities Maintenance II performs a wide range of maintenance, repair, and upkeep activities across company facilities. This role requires solid working knowledge of general maintenance practices and the ability to complete most tasks independently with minimal supervision. The role provides support across multiple functional areas, ensuring facilities remain safe, operational, and well‑maintained for employees and visitors.
What you’ll be doing as a Facilities Maintenance
Perform general facilities maintenance tasks with limited guidance, including repairs, installations, and routine preventative maintenance
Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems with minimal rework or errors
Complete work using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and equipment
Support interior and exterior building upkeep, including painting, grounds work, minor carpentry, and basic plumbing repairs
Assist with movement and transportation of materials or equipment using company vehicles as needed
Communicate job status, issues, and completion details to teammates and leadership
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements to maintain a safe working environment
Other duties as assigned
Skills you bring to the role
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of general facilities maintenance experience, including construction, painting, plumbing, grounds care, and light carpentry
Valid driver’s license (required for vehicle operation)
Experience in custodial tasks, basic carpentry, plumbing, and general building maintenance preferred
Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance‑related equipment
Ability to safely operate motor vehicles
Ability to use a computer, including keyboard and mouse, for work‑order management
Ability to adhere to safe work habits and use appropriate PPE for all tasks
Ability to lift 25 lbs. independently and perform team lifts up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in the variety of environments in both indoor and outdoor climates
