What You’ll Do:

As the Facilities Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of facility operations and maintenance, including:

  • Coordinating and supervising contractors for repairs and improvement projects
  • Managing HVAC systems, emergency power, and utility usage
  • Implementing building security protocols and snow removal plans
  • Conducting routine inspections and handling day-to-day maintenance needs
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and documentation requirements
  • Monitoring facility budgets and optimizing efficiency
  • Providing clear updates to leadership and resolving employee concerns

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications a plus!)
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and facility management software
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various environmental conditions

Bonus Points For:

  • Previous experience managing facility operations or leading maintenance teams
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards and emergency planning
  • Experience with contractor/vendor management
