Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or Business Administration.
Certifications:
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM)
- Facility Management Professional (FMP)
Relevant Skills:
- Technical Skills: HVAC Systems Oversight, Space Planning, Vendor Contract Negotiation.
- Standards & Frameworks: ADA Compliance, OSHA Safety Standards, LEED Sustainability.
- Tools/Software: CMMS (e.g., IBM Maximo, Maintenance Connection), AutoCAD.
Professional Experience (Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Manage facility budgets, forecasting operational costs and capital expenditures.
- Oversee third-party service providers (janitorial, security, landscaping) to ensure contract compliance.
