Facilities Manager

Eaton\u2019s Electrical Sector is currently seeking a Facilities Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Richmond, VA location. Relocation assistance will be provided within the US.\n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $97,000 - $143,000 a year. \n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\nThis role leads the planning, development, and operational readiness of manufacturing facilities, ensuring all building systems meet Eaton\u2019s safety, compliance, and performance standards. The incumbent must have strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facility infrastructure systems and be able to partner effectively with developers, contractors, and engineers. It\u2019s where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential\u2014and where you can help us reach ours.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n * Lead and develop assigned facilities team including extended contracted team members. \n * Implement Eaton standards and requirements in current and future facilities.\n * Have responsibility for mentoring and recruiting highly skilled facilities talent.\n * Manage all facilities and maintenance activities within the department including but not limited to procurement of equipment, preventative maintenance scheduling and planning, space planning, layout changes, and facility flow improvements.\n * Work with external developers/GC to ensure the building meets Eaton EHS standards and requirements (bathrooms, entrances/exits, aisleways, racking, guarding, dock equipment, BAS, fire alarm, electrical infrastructure, roof guarding, etc.).\n * Provide project updates and ensure Eaton guidelines are implemented on schedule to reduce risk, delays, and cost overruns.\n * Review and ensure alignment with project specifications, such as: Project Outline Specifications, Basis of Design, and Eaton Design Guidelines.\n * Track project budgets and ensure completion to budget (especially for new facility projects)\n * Develop standards, procedures, and training as necessary and effectively communicate plans and changes to all levels of the organization.\n * Other duties as assigned.\n\n\n\n## Basic (Required) Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited institution\n * Minimum of five (5) years of experience in operations, engineering, construction, facilities/maintenance or another related field\n * Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
