As a Facilities Protection Manager \u2013 Manager Level 1 located in Redondo Beach, CA, you\u2019ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. \n\nThis position will work 2nd shift.\n\nJob responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\n\n * Oversee SCC that monitors various security alarms and video cameras\n * Responsible for ensuring the SCC is efficient in daily operations\n * Dispatch Security Officers to medical emergencies, building evacuations, and other incidents requiring uniformed Security Officers\n * Conduct security post checks to ensure Security Officers are performing their duties in compliance with departmental and company policies\n * Oversee random vehicle inspections as directed by security management\n * Establish regular security inspections and coordinates with firefighting and law-enforcement agencies\n * Schedule Security Officers for overtime and escorting duties\n * Responsible for preparing and maintaining various logs, journals, and reports\n * Conducts on-the-job field training for Security Officers\n * Conduct security-related lineup briefings\n * Communicate daily with Security Officers and Security Management\n * Demonstrates sound judgment in applying security expertise to resolve security-related issues\n * Assist in the Security Control Center and perform other related duties as assigned\n * Conducts security-related duties as directed by security management\n * Assist security managers in ensuring security policies and regulations are enforced and observed at all times\n * Communicate effectively, orally and in writing to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, employees, and customers\n * Other duties as assigned\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree with 5 years of professional security experience \u2013 OR \u2013 Master\u2019s degree with 3 years of professional security experience\n * Will consider an additional four years of security work experience in lieu of a degree\n * Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time\n * Ability to sit, walk, and stand for prolonged periods of time\n * Valid United States Driver\u0027s License\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Top Secret/SCI clearance\n * Active California Guard card\n\n\n\nAs a leader with integrity, you ensure ethical conduct, balanced results, and partner satisfaction. For more information on our Total Rewards package, please visit our Total Rewards site.\n\nNorthrop Grumman Total Rewards\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
