Job Description - Facilities Services Manager

Arena Staffing is seeking a highly organized and experienced Facilities Services Manager to join our team. As a leader in the staffing industry, we provide a wide range of services to clients in various industries, and we are looking for a Facilities Services Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement facility maintenance and operations plans to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of all facilities

- Manage and supervise a team of maintenance and custodial staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed

- Oversee the scheduling and completion of all maintenance and repair tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance

- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for major facility projects and ensure work is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner

- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including building owners, property managers, and other external partners

- Monitor and maintain facility budgets, ensuring all expenses are within budget and identifying areas for cost savings

- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify any maintenance or safety issues and address them promptly

- Ensure compliance with all safety and building codes and regulations

- Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans and procedures

- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, invoices, and equipment maintenance schedules

- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in facility management and make recommendations for improvement as needed.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a supervisory or management role

- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance

- Excellent leadership and team management skills

- Proven experience in budget management and cost control

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively

- Knowledge of safety and building codes and regulations

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software.
