The Facilities Specialist assists in maintaining, enhancing, and supporting the physical environment across all facilities and properties to ensure safety, efficiency, and a positive member and team member experience.
This position takes a leadership initiative to resolve immediate building, grounds, and vehicle fleet issues, promptly and effectively helping to minimize operational disruptions and extend the life of credit union assets.
On a daily basis, the Facilities Specialist maintains the general upkeep of all Credit Union buildings and grounds, performing minor repairs and maintenance, including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, drywall, and painting.
The Facilities Specialist assists in the setup of Credit Union-sponsored events, meetings, and functions. They load and unload supply and equipment inventory and maintain storage space efficiency.
This role supports the service mission of the Facilities Department by applying practical knowledge and experience in a responsive, service-oriented manner to support team members and organizational needs.
