We are looking to fill a 1st shift position in our maintenance Department. Below are the preferred skills, duties, and responsibilities you will have performing as our Facilities Technician.

Position Summary:

As a facilities Technician you will provide all necessary service, support, upkeep, and coordination of the building maintenance, janitorial work, and grounds. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct facility maintenance tasks including painting, drywall installation, door and floor repairs, plumbing, lighting, and HVAC system upkeep.
• Maintain facility grounds by mowing, snow removal, and sweeping.
• Assist Maintenance Technicians with preventative maintenance tasks and repairs.
• Promptly addressing or reporting any unsafe conditions to your supervisor.
• Adhere to all company procedures and policies.
• Clean, inspect, and restock restroom supplies.
• Meet time standards for assigned projects.
• Control, protect, and use company assets properly.
• Clean facilities inside and out as required.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables correctly.
• Mop and operate floor scrubber on shop floors.
• Perform general laborer duties as needed.
• Follow any additional tasks directed by the Facilities Manager.

Education & Experience:

• Required: High School or GED.
• Preferred: Trade Certification in HVAC, Construction, or another related field.
•  Required 2+ years' experience in prior facilities or janitorial service work.
• Must be able to sign and abide by Company’s employee handbook and confidentiality agreement.
• Required to successfully complete a background check, job physical, and drug screening.
• Must be able to work well with others including contacts outside of the organization.
• Must be able to perform work independently at the expected rate.
