Facilities Technician

Join our team as a Facilities Technician, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our building systems. We’re looking for a skilled professional ready to take on the challenge of ensuring our facilities are in top condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled maintenance work in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety systems, and other areas.

• Review and prioritize work orders for timely and efficient completion.

• Conduct repairs on plumbing fixtures, drywall, ceiling and floor tiles, and electrical systems.

• Inspect and perform minor repairs on roofing.

• Assist in loading and unloading trucks.

• Replace and install locks.

• Respond to HVAC problem calls.

• Participate in an on-call rotating schedule for emergency maintenance services, available 24/7.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia.

• Type I and II Refrigerant Transition and Recovery (CFC) certification.

• One year of experience and/or training in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC preferred.

• Must undergo a CJIS background check.

• Ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength and stamina.

• Snow essential position.
