Facilities Technician

The Denver Waldorf School is seeking a Facilities Technician to help care for and maintain our school campus. This role supports daily operations, seasonal maintenance, and special events to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and community.

The Denver Waldorf School is a friendly and lively urban K-12 school with 300 students located in Denver, Colorado with the splendor of the Rocky Mountains just a short trip away. Founded in 1974, we are a fully accredited full member school of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America, the Waldorf Early Childhood Association and the Association of Colorado Independent Schools. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily building and grounds inspections.
• Handle general repairs, routine maintenance, and vendor coordination.
• Support snow removal, landscaping, and playground upkeep.
• Maintain HVAC, smart building systems, and equipment.
• Ensure  safety and compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Participate in the Admin Team, Buildings & Grounds, and Emergency Response.

Qualifications:

• Experience in facilities, maintenance, or landscaping preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable with physical labor and outdoor work.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required (mileage reimbursed).
