Facilities Technician

• Development of policies and procedures to effectively carry out safety, facility maintenance and performance, training and quality assurance programs


• Overall responsibility for facility-related preventative and unscheduled maintenance processes


• Ensuring that all required reports are delivered on time


• Implementation of continuous improvement initiatives


• Compliance with the ISO-9001 quality program for facility maintenance


• Responsible for the day-to-day oversight, management and leadership of the Crossroads maintenance facilities, always ensuring safety, coordinating periodic planned maintenance of the facility and coordinating all sub-contractors’ activities performed in support of facility maintenance. • Responsible for FRA compliance at each VRE Yard, documents, records and reporting


• Assists to ensure that customer service issues related to facility defects are resolved in a prompt, professional manner


• Ensures timely communication of accurate information to senior management of other departments necessary to plan daily and long-term commuter operations


• Ensures consistent delivery of high-quality service that meets or exceeds passenger expectations

Maintaining a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and FRA  regulations
