Facilities Technician - HVAC

Position Summary\n\nThe Facilities Specialist IV is a senior, hands\u2011on facilities role with a primary focus on commercial/industrial HVAC systems and overall facility maintenance. This position supports office, lab, cleanroom, and manufacturing\u2011support environments, ensuring building systems operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with applicable standards. The role works independently, serves as a technical resource for others, and coordinates contractors as needed.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including air handlers, make\u2011up air units, exhaust systems, controls, and associated mechanical components.\n * Perform facility\u2011wide maintenance activities in addition to HVAC, including mechanical repairs, minor electrical/low\u2011voltage support, plumbing, and building repairs (within scope of training and qualifications).\n * Support cleanroom and manufacturing support HVAC systems, including airflow, pressurization, temperature, and humidity control.\n * Use CMMS (e.g., IBM Maximo) to manage work orders, preventive maintenance, and asset history.\n * Utilize building automation systems (e.g., Johnson Controls Niagara) for monitoring and troubleshooting.\n * Coordinate and oversee contractors performing HVAC and facility services.\n * Document work clearly and accurately using CMMS and Microsoft Office tools.\n * Participate in an on\u2011call rotation to support after\u2011hours and emergency facility/HVAC needs.\n\n\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n * Active Massachusetts HVAC License (commercial/industrial)\n * 7\u201310 years of facilities maintenance experience, with strong HVAC focus\n * Proven technical troubleshooting skills\n * Experience working independently in an operational environment\n * Ability to participate in an on\u2011call schedule, including responding to after\u2011hours emergencies\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n * Experience supporting cleanroom, laboratory, or manufacturing support environments\n * Familiarity with Maximo, Johnson Controls Niagara, or similar systems\n * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)\n\n\n\nPhysical \u0026 Work Environment\n\n * Physically active role requiring lifting, climbing, working in tight spaces, and use of hand and power tools\n * Work may occur in office, lab, manufacturing support, and cleanroom environments with appropriate PPE\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nTechnical Diploma\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n7 - 10 Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\n10-Day 8-Hr (United States of America)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nNo\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nNo\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nEmployee Referral (Standard)\n\nU.S. Salary Range:\n\n$29.00 - $39.60\n\nThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
