Facilities/Maintenance Manager

Adler Group Leavenworth is a group of restaurants & food preparation facilities located in the gorgeous, year-round tourist destination of Leavenworth, WA. Anchored by the world-famous Andreas Keller Restaurant, our properties occupy prime real estate & and are visited by tens of thousands of people a year. Thus - we have a position for an in-house maintenance manager to oversee the smooth operation of our properties to ensure continuous business operations.

Overall, this role will involve leading employees, utilizing your tradesman skills for hands-on projects, and interfacing with the rest of the admin staff & ownership to plan repairs & improvements to our facilities.

Some of the varied, specific responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):

? Managing the physical plant of our 3 restaurants, including Andreas Keller Restaurant, Mozart’s Restaurant, and The Gingerbread Factory. Also managing our 2 additional food preparation facilities - all located in Leavenworth.
? Initiate contact with outside vendors for execution of contracted maintenance work.
? Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment & mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair.
? Ensure that company premises and facilities are kept in clean & hygienic condition.
? Implement adequate workplace safety policies and standards.
? Troubleshoot & repair basic functions of equipment to ensure proper working condition.
? Oversee & ensure snow removal and salting in the winter - including sidewalks & parking areas for all buildings.
? Will handle training, supervision, and management of all employees assigned to the maintenance department - including performance reviews & discipline issues with the support of Human Resources.
? Develop & maintain a maintenance schedule of the grounds, buildings, and major equipment.
? Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
? Collaborate with ownership for approval of all installations and repair activities.
? On-Call availability for emergencies when assigned.

We are looking for an individual who has experience & qualifications that match the importance of the position including:

? Working knowledge of commercial facility electrical & mechanical systems.
? Familiarity with some or all of the following; electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, power/water/gas turnoffs, fire suppression, and grease management systems
? Ability to evaluate deficiencies such as excessive wear, or troubleshoot faulty equipment parts.
? Previous experience leading facility maintenance or construction personnel
? Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment & using problem solving skills
? General working knowledge of building repair & purchasing processes
? Effective communication & people management skills.
? Must possess a valid WA State drivers license, or ability to get one within 30 days of employment.
? Ability to maintain a positive working attitude & ability to professionally handle stressful situations.
