Job Description
A Career with Purpose
The Office of Juvenile Affairs (OJA) is searching for an Investigator to ensure accountability and compliance with agency policies and applicable laws. This role will be responsible for maintaining the safety, security, and integrity of facility operations. Experience with conducting interviews for investigations, and compliance of accreditation standards is a plus.
Basic Purpose
The COJC Investigator is responsible for conducting impartial, timely, and thorough investigations into caretaker misconduct allegations and major rule violations within a secure juvenile facility. This position ensures due process is afforded in all investigations involving alleged minor and major rule violations while promoting staff accountability and compliance with agency policy, administrative rules, and applicable laws. The role plays a critical function in maintaining the safety, security, and integrity of facility operations for both residents and staff.
