TAM International US Inc is seeking a dedicated individual with excellent communication skills to join their team as a Facility Logistics Coordinator.
The Facility Logistics Coordinator supports daily operations at the TAM U.S. Paducah facility by coordinating storage yard activities and assisting with the safe, compliant, and efficient movement and storage of customer materials. This role works with customers, carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to schedule transportation activities, maintain inventory and equipment records, prepare shipment documentation, and support facility operations. The Coordinator is responsible for ensuring tasks are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with applicable regulations, safety requirements, and the TAM Quality Assurance Program. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while promoting TAM's core values, safety culture, and commitment to customer service.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Manage the receipt of new equipment and associated receipt inspections
Maintain accurate inventory of logistics-related equipment
Ensure proper oversight and completion of all activities at the In-Transit Storage Yard
Ensure compliant and efficient planning, scheduling, and execution of radioactive shipments
Create and maintain transportation schedules
Actively participate in cross-functional meetings with key stakeholders
Collaborate with assigned suppliers to drive exceptional and economical service
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, deliverables, and milestones.
Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and suppliers
Ensure that TAM activities are conducted in compliance with the applicable regulations, safety requirements and TAM Quality Assurance Program
Be knowledgeable of and participate in TAM’s Quality Management System
Function as a culture ambassador, driving and role modeling TAM core values
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Logistics/Supply Chain, Planning, or a related business field
Demonstrated working knowledge of transportation and shipping operations, including shipment coordination, documentation, carrier interactions, and logistics processes.
Excellent organizational, planning, and implementation skills
Ability to create realistic schedules and meet deadlines under stress and interruptions
High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, and facts
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability
Ability to respond appropriately in high-pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanor
Well-defined interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently, self-starter
Strong English abilities, both written and spoken
