Onsite Facility Assessments: Visit client sites (Healthcare, Education, Industrial, and Hospitality) to audit current cleaning protocols and identify areas for improvement in efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Product Demonstrations: Conduct live, hands-on demonstrations of industrial equipment—such as orbital scrubbers, motor scrubbers, and specialized floor care machinery—directly on the client’s surfaces (tile, grout, marble, gym floors).
Technical Training: Lead onsite training sessions for janitorial staff and building service contractors on proper chemistry applications, equipment maintenance, and restoration techniques (e.g., fire/flood restoration or hard surface polishing).
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with wholesale distributors to develop "Activity-Based Business Plans" that include end-user targeting and customized marketing solutions.
Technical Support: Serve as a subject matter expert on flooring types and chemical interactions, troubleshooting performance issues in the field.
Inventory Coordination: Manage and transport demo equipment from the regional warehouse to various field locations across the territory.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in Janitorial/Sanitation (JanSan), commercial flooring, or industrial facility management.
Hands-on Technical Ability: Comfortable operating and performing basic maintenance on heavy-duty cleaning machinery and power tools.
Presentation Skills: Ability to command a room and teach diverse groups of people, from frontline staff to high-level facility directors.
Consultative Approach: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to "prescribe" solutions rather than just "sell" products.
Mobility: Must be willing to travel daily to various sites within the assigned territory (e.g., Northeast Ohio, Western PA, or Michigan).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and transport heavy demo equipment (up to 50 lbs).
Willingness to work in various industrial and commercial environments, including construction sites or active warehouses.
