Principal Responsibility: The Facility Maintenance Technician helps to maintain and oversee the company’s grounds, buildings, vehicles, and equipment to ensure that the workspace is safe and functional. The Facility Maintenance Technician is also responsible for assisting the sales team in transporting consigned inventory to the warehouse.

The Facility Maintenance Technician is Responsible For:
- Completing maintenance and janitorial/custodial tasks as assigned.
- Responsible for the weekly cleaning, sanitization, and restocking of restrooms throughout the facility.
- Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior spaces, including offices, conference rooms, break rooms, restrooms, and parking lots.
- Assist the Facility Manager in performing routine maintenance on the facility and follow up daily on the vehicle checklist.
- Assist in carpentry projects, including shelving, racking, crates, tables, and other storage compartments as needed throughout the facility and yard.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on company-owned vehicles. This includes taking vehicles to appointments for maintenance and returning vehicles to the company headquarters.
- Follow all security measures for the workplace.
- Help maintain day-to-day operations of facilities by completing maintenance tasks or work orders on time as assigned by the Facility Maintenance Manager.
- Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions. Follow the Facility Maintenance Manager's instructions on how to properly perform seasonal duties such as snow and ice removal, lawn mowing, and trimming.
- Prepare all vehicles for day-to-day operations such as transports, mail runs, etc.
- Other duties as assigned, such as helping the FFL department with off-site firearm pickups, driving to and from consignor properties for the purpose of safely transporting inventory for future auctions, and offloading and moving inventory around the storage yard in preparation for future auctions.

- Ability to obtain a valid Forklift License per OSHA regulations.
- Valid Alaska driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background and reference check.
Minimum Qualifications
- An ability to perform skilled tasks to assist in maintaining the company’s grounds, buildings, vehicles, and equipment (i.e., painting, carpentry, landscaping, restrooms).
- Ability to perform custodial duties as required.
- Ability to get along well with staff, clients, and customers.
- Ability to take instructions from the immediate supervisor and work with other staff members.
- Ability to make decisions based on outlined duties, company policy, and procedures.
- Must show initiative in performing all duties.
- Ability to physically lift tables and chairs and set up rooms.
- Proficiency in MS Office and/or Google Workspace Applications.
- Ability to pass a background and reference check.
