Location: Toyota of Olympia — Tumwater, WA
Schedule: Full-time; generally Mon–Fri with occasional early/late hours for projects or emergencies
Compensation: $20-$32 DOE

About the Role

The Facility Maintenance Technician keeps our dealership running safely, cleanly, and efficiently. You’ll handle hands-on repairs, preventative maintenance, and vendor coordination across the entire Dealership.

What You’ll Do

  Day to Day upkeep: Proactively walk the property daily to spot issues early and keep the site looking its best.

  Preventative & annual maintenance: Maintain a Property Maintenance calendar and ensure all required inspections/maintenance are completed on time; keep documentation current.

  Vendor coordination: Schedule, meet, and oversee vendors; get quotes, manage timelines, and verify quality/completion.

  
  


• 
  

  Work orders & responsiveness: Prioritize and complete requests with urgency; communicate status and follow-through.

  
  


• 
  

  Safety & compliance support: Help maintain a safe workplace and readiness for audits/inspections.

  
  


• 
  

  Hands-on mindset: Tackle minor repairs and improvements; escalate larger work to licensed vendors.

  
  

What You’ll Bring

• 
  

  Proven experience in facilities/building maintenance - minimum of 3 years experience

  
  


• 
  

  A self-starter, ownership mindset—able to see what needs doing and do it without hand-holding.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong organization and follow-through; comfortable juggling property maintenance schedules, vendors, and day-to-day requests.

  
  


• 
  

  Professional communication with all departments and outside partners.

  
  


• 
  

  Valid driver’s license and insurable record; ability to lift 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors.

  
  


• Bonus: OSHA-10, LOTO knowledge, EPA 608, forklift certification.
