Job Title: Facility Maintenance Worker
Location: Lake City, Florida
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $15.00 per hour

Position Summary
Our client is seeking a dependable and hardworking Facility Maintenance Worker to join their team. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of our facility. The ideal candidate must have experience operating a forklift and a lull and be capable of lifting to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and maintain the facility, including floors, work areas, restrooms, and common areas
Perform simple, small maintenance tasks and minor repairs as needed
Operate a forklift and lull safely and efficiently
Move materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Conduct routine equipment checks and report any issues
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Support additional facility-related tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Previous facility maintenance or industrial cleaning experience preferred
Proven experience operating a forklift and lull (certification preferred)
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Strong understanding of workplace safety practices
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
Stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods
Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
